(D) Safety Alerts:
013Road warning devices must be activated prior to occupying grade crossing at 55th MP 8.4 Kenton Subdivision when proceeding south from the Elsdon Industrial Lead to the Kenton Subdivision.
014Be on the lookout for rail between the gauge of track No.1 at Rockwell Yard.
015At MP 16.7 use caution watch for falling concrete from overpass.
016Be on the lookout for falling concrete and debris in the walkways in the vicinity of Cicero Ave. Bridge and Pulaski Ave. Bridge, within limits of Clearing Yard, use caution and good judgement when working in this area.

020911 Crossings - Emergency Communication
021Street crossings are noted in the current BRC Timetable & CORA Notice as critical routes for delivery of emergency services to the City of Chicago.
022When trains are stopped or anticipated to be obstructing any of these crossings for more than ten (10) minutes, train crew must notify the train dispatcher immediately.
023Upon receiving such notification, the train dispatcher will contact the City of Chicago Office of Emergency Communications and notify the Manager of Train Operations.
024A crew member must notify the train dispatcher when the train is clear of the crossing.
025Days Since Last Run Thru Switch: BRC crews - 11 Foreign crews - 8.
026Days Since Last Human Factor Derailment: BRC crews - 11 Foreign crews - 34.
027Use caution looking out for rails along mains on both 59th St. and Kenton Line subdivisions, from MP 5.5 to MP 21.2
028Use caution looking out for close clearances in Commercial Ave. Yard.

(E) Notices:
029The Current Safety Alert Level is 2 (Heightened Security Awareness) When inspecting Train, increase vigilance and scrutiny of railcars, looking for unusual items.
030All crews reporting at Clearing to pick up trains or power must contact the Yardmaster immediately upon reporting at Clearing and must, thereafter, be on their power enroute to their train within 30 minutes of arrival.
031Crews picking up or interchanging trains on the main line, outlying yards, or recrewing a train within Clearing Yard must contact the Train Dispatcher immediately upon arriving to pick up the train.
032Crews must notify the Dispatcher when the locomotive inspection is complete and train is ready to depart. Verification of the locomotive and train consist may be requested by the Dispatcher.
033Effective April 1st. 2011 the Daily Operating Bulletin will no longer be faxed to any location.

Conductor's Work Report


Must be completed by all Transfer, Industry, Utility, Work Train, and Boat Job assignments during the tour of duty. Report is to be completed as work progresses.

An example of information to be included as follows:
* Time train built, Time air test performed, Departure time, Time cars spotted, respotted (interplant switch), or pulled.
* Problems at the industry, reasons industry switch not completed, housekeeping issues at the industry.

In addition, all delays experienced at the work location or enroute to or from the work location in excess of 30 minutes are to be noted on the form.

Conductor's Work report is to be faxed to Car Operations at (708) 496-3037 And M. Paras at (708) 658-1510 after completion. Conductor must thereafter call the Chief Clerk at (708) 496-4117 to verify receipt and clarify any questions.

Original is to be submitted with the FRA documents and time slips.
